The short version: this site has no accounts, never sees your calculator inputs, and asks before setting any non-essential cookies.
What we don't collect
- Calculator inputs. Everything you type runs in your browser. Inputs are never sent to our servers; the shareable links you can copy encode inputs in the URL only when you create them.
- Identity data. No accounts, no sign-ups, no personal profiles.
What runs in your browser
- Preferences — your theme choice and consent decision are stored in localStorage on your device. They never leave it.
- Live prices — tools request current coin prices from our price endpoint (which proxies CoinGecko). That request carries your IP address like any web request; we don't log it against any profile.
Analytics & advertising (consent-gated)
Where analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 with Consent Mode v2: for visitors in the EEA/UK, analytics and ad storage are denied by default and activate only if you accept the consent banner. If display advertising is enabled, ad partners (e.g., Google AdSense) may use cookies subject to the same consent; ads are shown in clearly marked slots. You can withdraw consent by clearing site data in your browser.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email goes to our newsletter provider (Buttondown) solely to send you the emails you asked for. Every issue includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Your rights
Under GDPR/UK GDPR and similar laws you can request access to or deletion of personal data we hold. Given the design above, that's typically nothing or your newsletter email — either way, contact us and we'll act on it. Questions about this policy: [email protected].
